Portugal has a total of 1,020 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 235 more than yesterday, according to the Directorate General of Portuguese Health (DGS) this Friday, March 20. The health authority has revealed the existence of six deaths linked to the civid-19 virus in the country.
According to the document published this morning, to date, 7,732 suspected cases have been registered and 850 people are still awaiting the results of the Covid-19 laboratory tests. According to the DGS report, there are still 5,862 unconfirmed cases after the analysis, and 9,008 are under surveillance.
There are 126 people hospitalized, five recovered, 26 in the intensive care unit (ICU) and six deaths confirmed by the DGS. In addition to the two deaths recorded in Lisbon recorded on the 18th last, the central region recorded two. The north and the Algarve recorded one fatal victim each.
