Can I live in Spain without a NIE? +

Regardless of your activities in Spain, a NIE number is essential. Many legal transactions, such as purchasing property or opening a bank account, don't require you to be a resident. In such cases, you will need a non-resident NIE.

What documents do I need? +

You will need to send a copy of your passport's two main bio pages, also stamped and signed by a notary. If you're a non-resident EU citizen processing your documents within the EU, a full copy of your passport or resident permit is needed. You will also need the Power of Attorney, stamped and signed by a notary of your choice. An Apostille de la Haye is necessary if you’re processing documents outside of Spain to ensure they are internationally recognized.

How long does it take? +

Once we have all the required documents and the file is complete, it takes up to six weeks for your request to be processed by the Spanish Police. You can also choose the Express Service to receive your NIE number within 3 weeks.

What's the buzz with Power of Attorney? +

A Power of Attorney (POA) authorizes us to apply for your NIE number on your behalf. This document allows our company to manage the entire NIE application process for you, providing a smooth and efficient service.

What is an "apostille" and how do I get one? +

An “Apostille de la Haye” is an authentication certificate issued under the Hague Convention of 1961. This certificate confirms the legitimacy of public documents from one member country, ensuring they are legally recognized in other member countries. The main goal of an Apostille de la Haye is to simplify the legalization of documents for international purposes.

How will I receive my NIE number?+

After we obtain your NIE document, we will scan and email a digital copy to the address you provided. If you have covered the shipping costs, we will also send the official NIE document to your specified address via expedited delivery.

I'm feeling adventurous: can I apply for the NIE myself in Spain? +

Sure, you can embark on a solo NIE journey to the Policia Nacional. But fair warning, you might meet lines longer than a dragon's tail! And unless Español rolls off your tongue, pack a translator. Guess what? We're the NIE game masters, here with a shortcut! Let's handle it like the pros we are.

What is your NIE Number Express Service? +

Need that NIE number for yesterday? We've got your back. Opt for the Priority track for around 3 weeks or keep it cool with the standard route clocking in at about 6 weeks. You choose, we make it happen!

What's the total cost? +

For just €269, you're all set for an NIE adventure with us! We're even throwing in the POA – a €300 deal if you went the notary way. Please note that you will have to add the shipping cost of your documents. Remember, local notaries and courthouses might do a little fee jig, but it's all in the global groove. Promise, it won't break the bank!

Is everything really online? +

No: registration to our service is entirely online, but you have to notarised the documents and send it by mail. A short trip for a great project!

Why do I need a NIE number?+

A NIE number is essential for various activities in Spain, such as living in the country, purchasing or renting property, starting a business, obtaining Spanish health insurance, and participating in legal transactions.

I am not from EU, can I apply? +

Yes, there are no restrictions :)

What happens if I stay longer than 90 days?+

For non-EU citizens, staying in Spain for over 90 days within a 180-day period violates the 90/180-day rule and can result in penalties. These may include fines, being required to leave the country, and a temporary ban from entering the Schengen Area.
