It was a more than controversial evening that took place next to Aveiro. Images on social media show dozens of people inside Bar 75 in Vila Maior, Aveiro district, wearing protective masks and DGS posters, against all indications by the authorities.

In the announcement made on social networks, he was informed that the bar "would offer protective masks at the entrance so that you are prepared for contamination". According to the bar, there were 200 masks to offer, but no disinfectant. The effectiveness of protective masks has been debated among experts, but everyone agrees that hand sanitizer is essential.

This Wednesday at a press conference, the Portuguese Minister of Health Marta Temido and the Director General of Health criticized all the citizens who went this Wednesday to the beaches of the Oeiras line, recalling that it is essential that the Portuguese remember the responsibilities of each other. The Minister of Health also called on the Portuguese to realize "the gravity of the situation" and that quarantine must be isolated, and that "closed schools do not mean school holidays".

The official then insisted on the measures that every citizen should take, such as hand hygiene. She admitted there could be "three or four cases" of unknown origin.

In Italy, the Prime Minister announced that he would close all commercial spaces other than markets and pharmacies.

According to the Directorate General for Health, Portugal has 59 cases of Covid-19. However, the number will increase, with new cases being known during the morning briefing, said Graça Freitas.
